Directions for use
- For skin care: Add 1-2 drops to 10ml of a skin care base oil (jojoba, camellia, monkey bread, argan, etc.), mix well and apply gently to the skin, face, neck and neckline, or add to lotions or creams to enhance the effect of the oil.
Before applying essential oils to the face or skin on a large scale, it is recommended that an allergy test be carried out by applying a small amount of diluted essential oil to the inside of the arm for 12 hours or more to check for any allergic reaction.
- Bath: Choose a pure essential oil that suits your needs and add 4-6 drops to a bathtub full of warm water. Stir well and soak in the bath for 20 minutes.
- Massage: Add 3-5 drops of pure essential oil to 10mls of sweet almond oil, mix well and massage gently over relevant body parts.
Do not apply undiluted essential oils directly to the skin.
- Inhalation: Choose a pure essential oil that suits your needs, add 2-3 drops to a bowl of warm water or a water-filled aromatherapy burner, stir well and inhale the vapour directly; this is especially suitable for soothing respiratory and emotional symptoms.
- Cold/hot compresses: Choose a pure essential oil that suits your needs, add 3-5 drops to 10mls of sweet almond oil, mix well and apply to the applicable body part, then add a hot or cold bag/towel to relieve the symptoms. Hot compresses are suitable for pain relief; cold compresses are suitable for inflammation, fever, sprains, swelling and bruises.
- Note: Not suitable for people with low blood pressure.
